It’s almost close to the Chinese New Year soon and we were looking at doing some mini makeover for our home before the holiday. We went through multiple ID firms and many firms were not responsive, which could also be due to low budget and tight schedule as we wish to start work as soon as possible. Many ID firms told us that it is more ideal for us to do it after the holiday as schedules were very packed during this period and didn’t want to over-promise us in case they couldn’t complete it in time.
However, when we met Alan, he was different. He was very responsive and attentive to our requirements. He gave us many suggestions on how we can do it in a different way to elevate the aesthetic without any extra cost. He also managed to squeeze in a time slot for us to start the renovation as soon as possible and even completed it in time.
Because this is a stay-in renovation work, one of our concerns were having people moving in and out of the house, especially having dust accumulation over the time. Alan paid a visit before the actual work and tried to accommodate our schedule during this period of time when the works were going on. He also ensured that his workers cleaned up the place every night before they left to ensure a clean environment and make us feel just like home again. He would also frequently check on us to make sure that we’re comfortable in our own home when the renovation work is going on.
We would like to thank Alan and his team of contractors and make our renovation experience a pleasant one. He was very efficient with the schedule without compromising the quality of work! Can’t wait to engage him as our preferred designer again during our next makeover!
